Shenzhen and Santa Clara, CA., December 1, 2015
- Donica Aviation Engineering, a leading Chinese in-flight entertainment (IFE) solution provider and Kiora Media, a last mile connectivity provider, today announced a joint solution to deliver a complete hardware and software platform for wireless In-Flight Entertainment (IFE). Wireless IFE opens the floodgates to a new BYOD (bring your own device) experience for passengers that lowers the airlines set up costs when compared to embedded systems, and creates alternate revenue streams for airlines.
The joint solution provides Donica's Wireless AVOD System with Kiora's KIVE content distribution platform that is designed to work with no connectivity.
