Adopters

Commercial licenses for deploying Marlin technology are offered through the Marlin Trust Management Organization (MTMO). Interim agreements are currently available for the following categories:

Service Provider Adopter
This is relevant for entities that provide Marlin services, such as license provisioning or renewability services. Service providers also need to be certified.

Client Adopter
This is relevant for entities that produce commercially available client devices or applications based on Marlin technology. Client Adopters will obtain licenses and certifications to allow them to deploy their technology in end-products and operational services. A certification process ensures that their implementations satisfy conformance, compliance, and robustness requirements

The Interim Content Participant Agreement will be available shortly. This is relevant to entities that endorse Marlin technology and wish to release content in Marlin format.
